Why internal flights in China at such low prices?

When you check out the flight schedules for internal flights in China, you will find some of them are listed as 10%, 20%, 30%, 50% or even 40% off the main air ticket price.

Maybe you can't understand why are they listed at such lower prices. Is there any reason for them to be avoided?Or is it simply 1st come 1st serve?
