One Day Hangzhou Gourmet Tour
Hangzhou One Day City Gourmet Tour Itinerary:
1 Pick you up from your hotel and drive to a famous restaurant for breakfast . Here you will enjoy traditional Hangzhou snacks Cat's Ear or Pian Er Chuan Noodle.
"Cat's Ear": flour-made dough looking like cat's ear, mixed with chicken shreds, ham, mushrooms and bamboo shoots in spiced soup. Yummy!
"Pian Er Chuan" Noodle: Very delicious noodle made in spiced soup with
lean pork, bamboo shoots and a local vegetable called Xue Cai (snow vegetable). Making of the noodle dish can date back to a century ago and is the specialty of a century-old restaurant in Hangzhou called "Kui Yuan Guan".
09:00am-09:40am: boat tour on West Lake;
10:20am-11:40am: visit the Lingyin(Soul's Retreat)Temple and Feilai Peak;
- West Lake: It is lying on the west edge of Hangzhou city, and it is the symbol of Hangzhou as well as one of the most beautiful sights in China.
Scenic Spots: Autumn Moon on the Calm Lake, Lotus in the Breeze at the Crooked Courtyard, Solitary Hill Island, Su Dongpo Causeway, Three Pools Mirroring the Moon(Lesser Yingzhou Isle), Mid-Lake Pavilion, etc.
- Lingyin Temple: It is one of the main attractions of Hangzhou city. The Temple contains a collection of Buddhist literature together with many other treasures. The palaces, pavilions and halls together with their many figures of Buddhist deities represent in total a splendid and unique collection of architectural and artistic cultural relics.
- Feilai Peak: With 209 meters (about 700 feet) tall, it is a pure limestone mountain that is very distinctive from the sandstone mountains around it. Large stones scattered along the peak are said to resemble animals like a flying dragon, a running elephant, a crouching tiger, and a fleeing monkey.
2 Tianwaitian Restaurant for lunch. This is also a very old restaurant first opened in 1910. its nice location close to the Lingyin Temple, tasty seafood and warm service make the restaurant very popular eating place for tourist.

02:00pm-02:40pm: visit the Tiger Spring;
03:00pm-03:40pm: visit the tea plantation;
04:00pm-05:00pm: vist Viewing Fish at Flower Harbor;
- Six Harmonies Pagoda: Highly erected by the Qiantang River and to the south of the West Lake, it is a perfect symbol of brick-and-wood structure built in the ancient China. It was first built in 970 AD in the Northern Song dynasty (960-1127). The name "six harmonies" comes from the six Buddhist ordinances, meaning "harmonies of the heaven, earth, east, west, south and north".
- Tiger Spring: It is ranked the third in China according to scientific research on the quality of the water of the spring. The pleasures to be gained from Tiger Spring are listening to the spring, viewing the spring, tasting the spring, feeling the spring, even dreaming that the spring enables every thought about the spring to come to mind.
- Viewing Fish at Flower Harbor: This spot is located at the southern end of the Su Causeway. A clean stream leads from Huajia Hill to the West Lake through here, so it named as Flower Harbor. Viewing Fish at Flower Harbor, now has been made into a 22 hectares park with many varieties of trees and flowers, featuring a peony garden which blooms in April and a goldfish pond which is the famous site for viewing fish.
3 Having dinner at Louwailou Restaurant . Built in the 1840s by a Qing Dynasty Noble, Louwailou Restaurant is said to be the oldest restaurant in China. Many foreign heads have dined there when visiting this city. The Restaurant features authentic Hangzhou cuisine. Tasty food served including West Lake Carp in Sweet and Sour Sauce, Beggar's Chicken as well as Dragon Well Tea served with snacks.
