More Beijing Paralympic tickets available

There will soon be more Beijing Paralympic tickets available through the ticketing website (www.tickets.beijing2008.cn), a Beijing Olympic Games Ticketing Center spokesperson told reporters on August 28.

Paralympic tickets went on sale on June 20, 2008. A total of 850,000 tickets were prepared for domestic sales.

Final confirmations for ticket booking for various Olympic partners and sponsors have been progressing smoothly. After the conclusion of this effort, the ticketing center expects to dig out extra tickets to make them available on the ticketing website.

In the next few days, new tickets will be added on the website each day, including some tickets for competitions in the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube, which spectators have been asking about ever since the Olympic Games concluded on August 24.

The official ticketing website is the primary source for tickets. In addition, over 30 Bank of China outlets have been authorized to sell tickets in Beijing and Qingdao.

At the very last stage of ticketing, some tickets will be sold at ticket booths of most venues where Paralympic competitions are held.
